Martin started his career in 2006 as co-founder of the innovation start-up Break-Through Ventures in Basel, Switzerland. He worked with global brands like Carlsberg, Arla Foods and Mammut. Together with the team, he invented new products for various industries. With the acquired experience, he moved to San Francisco in 2008, where he worked for the established agencies Ammunition Group and Frog Design. During the four years in the Bay Area, he had the privilege to develop iconic products for leading brands in the industry (e.g. Beats, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, Dell, Google). After his return to Switzerland in 2013, he designed various award winning products during his employment as a Lead Designer at Logitech.
Today, Martin is living in Zürich and works as Lead Concept Designer at On Running. His tasks cover, amongst others, the development of next generation products with a focus on sustainability and circularity - LinkedIn
To refresh the mind, Martin spends as much time as possible in nature – Especially in the mountains, where he follows his passion for mountain biking. Being active in the great outdoors is his source of inspiration.
